Our History
In the mid-1940s, Cullen Crawford founded the Crawford
Fitting Company, revolutionizing the industry with his
patented flareless fitting—featuring a nut and two-ferrule
system. This innovation simplified tubing connections and
set a new standard for reliability. Since then, end users
worldwide have made billions of leak-proof connections,
earning Mr. Crawford the title of “The Founder of the
Flareless Fitting.”
